To mark the 50th anniversary of Scooby Doo and because I’ve always loved the show, I created this Scooby Doo quilt. I used an up-cycled a Scooby t-shirt and added some Scooby themed fabric to make this quilt fun and playful. This quilt is stitched together using glow in the dark thread for a extra bit of spookiness.
Scooby Doo began in 1968 and along the way The Gang has teamed up with several notable celebrities including the Harlem Globetrotters and the heavy metal band, KISS.
Several of the borders in this quilt are finished with cornerstones. I added contrasting cornerstones to this quilt to make the border colors stand out.
